I work on the margin, the cutting edge, the leading edge - making a difference. It does not matter whether you
have poor sales, or whether you are a leading salesperson. There will be areas where you are missing out on
profitable sales and customer relationships. My forte is the people stuff. Get that wrong and often you will not
even realize.
So, who am I to talk and why can I make a difference? There are plenty of sales “how to” books out there,
training courses and so on.

2) I focus on people dynamics that most people do not understand.
3) I used to be a total failure in sales - so bad in fact that I used to make things worse. This stemmed in
parts from the roots in my childhood where I used to go to great lengths to avoid talking in public – plays,
classroom etc. Being deaf didn't help. Today, I know what works and my career has included cold calling hostile
householders, other varieties of direct sales, telephone sales, business and corporate level sales, sales training
and management, and speaking to large groups of people in public setting (the biggest approximately 5000 at the
London Direct Marketing Fair).
